Typical Mobile Hardware Example

• 1. Set of sensors (mostly GPS), delivering NMEA 0183 or similar ASCII-type information (multiple sensors supported, 8 channels). Any serial port works (USB, serial, simulated, etc.).
• 2. PC laptop computer with 3D acceleration (Windows XP)
• 3. Mobile laptop power supply
• 4. Optional trackball. Ball pointing devices are best in mobile environments.
• 5. Master Navigator program (Current version is 2010)
• 6. Additionally maybe an A4-size scanner.
